A former double closet was opened up to create a multi-purpose area on the mezzanine level.  The blank space presented an opportunity to create a modern, multi-function area within the grand home, in a scale relevant to today’s small-space conversation.  Inspired by the amazing openness and light of the upper floors, Lola Home Design brought those qualities to the Mezzanine Hall via light and luminous finishes.  The reimagined space consists of a sink & counter area, a large storage cabinet (with electrical & plumbing) and a coat cubby.  The Mezzanine Hall can be a mudroom, kitchenette or studio annex depending on the homeowner’s needs.
