Lois Vinsel opened her retail shop LOLA in November 2006. Located in Berkeley, California LOLA quickly became a destination for contemporary design in the Bay Area. Products from LOLA were featured in the New York Times, Departures, Sunset, Harper’s Bazaar, California Home + Design and Lucky magazines. LOLA was included in the San Francisco 2nd Ed eat.shop guide and profiled in Remodelista's April 2010 "Shopper's Diary."
After working on a number of interior design projects while LOLA was open, Lois closed the shop in 2011 and turned her focus to interior design full time. Lola Home Design services range from home styling to comprehensive renovation projects. Lois works with the finest local builders and artisans to create contemporary environments that are highly personal, livable and playful.
